Ash Taylor – Business Coach
Real-world coaching for business owners who want more from their business—and their life.
I’m a Business Owner, Just Like You
I’ve been building businesses for over 30 years—first in sport, now in business. I’ve built teams, solved cashflow headaches, sold, marketed, failed, and succeeded. And I’m still doing it.
So when we work together, you’re not getting textbook theory. You’re getting someone who knows what it’s like to lie awake worrying about money. Someone who’s made tough hires, built assets that convert, and got over the fear of selling.
From Coaching Tennis to Coaching You
My background is professional sport. When I coached tennis, I wasn’t training rackets—I was coaching players. That’s what I do now.
It doesn’t matter what business you’re in. You’re the one making the decisions, steering the ship. You’re the difference. Get that part right, and things start to click.
Your goal might be a million-pound business. Or just more time with your kids, fewer emails on holiday, or space to think clearly again. Whatever it is, my job is to coach you toward it.
What Coaching With Me Looks Like
Coaching isn’t giving you answers—it’s helping you find the right questions. You already have the knowledge. I’ll help you unlock it.
I work with business owners who want clarity, structure, and real progress. Most come to me feeling stuck, stretched, or unsure what the next stage should look like. Together, we cut through the noise, set clear priorities, and build plans you can actually act on.
The feedback is consistent. Clients gain focus at key growth points, put better systems in place, strengthen their leadership, and build businesses that are more profitable and more sustainable. Teams grow, pressure eases, and the business starts working for them instead of the other way around.
What people value most is the balance. I’ll challenge you when it matters, keep things practical, and support you with real experience, not theory. You’ll also be part of a community of business owners who understand the journey and are moving forward themselves.
"Ash just got us — what we do and why we do it. He always keeps questioning you and getting you to ask yourself the difficult ones. He’s committed to giving maximum value at every meeting. Our business has doubled in profit and we're able to leave it for weeks at a time to enjoy our place in Spain".
Dean & Marie Haywood, Five Star Furnishing Care. (Client 2016 - 2024)
Business Mentoring
Sometimes you need someone to ask questions.
Sometimes you need someone to tell you how they did it.
That’s where mentoring comes in.
I’ve mentored coaches and business owners by sharing what’s worked—and what hasn’t. I don’t do shortcuts. But I do help you avoid time-wasting mistakes by drawing from real, practical experience.
I'm also a director with Leadership Management International UK, delivering top-tier leadership training to teams and organisations.
“Ash has real-world credibility. He’s honest when he says, ‘I’ve been there.’ That’s rare. His advice comes from experience, not guesswork.”
Robin Adams, Perfect Blend Marketing (Client since 2016)
Why Work With a Business Coach?
Tiger Woods. Oprah. Federer. Obama. Even Steve Jobs.
They all had coaches.
Because coaching works.
Success leaves clues.
My clients vary—long-time business partners, solo founders, early-stage owners—but they all bring the same things: honesty, openness, and a hunger to grow. And they all know how to have a laugh, too.
I don’t work with energy-drainers, quick-fix seekers, or anyone who expects me to wear a suit.
If You’re Serious About Success—Your Version of It
Whether you’re chasing a bigger bottom line, a better work-life balance, or just want to feel in control again, coaching can help you get there.
If you're ready to grow, be challenged, supported, and heard—let’s talk.
“Ash listens. Then he speaks—clearly, with purpose. His advice helped us grow from four to five figures and above the VAT threshold in 6 months. From a team of 2 to 22. And now we make as much profit monthly as we used to bring in yearly.”
Tom Welbourne, The Good Marketer (Client 2018 - 2121)
